  1. Visitor Visa: This type of visa is issued to Indians citizens travelling to Pakistan to meet friends, relatives, or for any other valid personal reason. This is a single-entry visa, having validity of up to 30 days. The processing time for this visa generally ranges between 30 to 35 days. 
  1. Business Visa: This type of visa is issued to Indians citizens travelling to Pakistan for business purposes. To get this type of visa, you need a letter from the sponsoring company or organisation in Pakistan stating the purpose of the visit. This is a single-entry visa, having validity of up to 30 days. The processing time for this visa generally ranges between 30 to 35 days. 

Required Documents for a Pakistan Visa

You need to submit the following documents to apply for a Pakistan visa: 

  1. Original passport having at least 6 months validity and at least 3 blank pages, as well as any previous passports.
  2. Duly filled and signed visa application form
  3. Receipt of visa fee payment
  4. Multiple copies of recent passport-sized photographs (as per requirement)
  5. Personal cover letter explaining the reason of travel 
  6. Identity proof (voter ID, PAN card, or driving license)
  7. Financial proof
  8. Return flight tickets
  9. Accommodation proof

The following is the list of supporting documents as per applicant’s occupation and type of visit: 

1. Employed:

  1. Leave Sanctioned Certificate for private sector employees showing company approval for leave with company seal. 
  1. Copy of Clearance or No Objection Certificate (NOC) for government employees from head of department or competent authority. 
  1. Salary slips of last three months  

2. Self Employed: 

  1. Business Proof, such as: 
  1. Registration License 
  1. MOA (Memorandum of Association) 
  1. Partnership deed 
  1. Stamped and updated company bank statement for last six months with bank seal 
  1. Last three years company’s Income Tax Returns 

3. Retired: Any retirement Proof, such as pension book, statement etc. 

4. If Student, then ID card from either school, college or institute depending on the educational institute. 

5. For Minor the following are the required supporting documents: 

  1. Birth Certificate showing the names of both parents 
  1. Legalized Letter of Consent (NOC) 

Note: 

  1. The letter of consent from the parent authorizes the child's travel with the other parent. 
  1. a notarized letter of consent from both parents permitting travel, if the child is travelling alone or without either parent. 
  1. In case one or both parents are deceased, death certificate. 
  1. ID Proof of the parents 

6. If Visiting friend or relative the following is the list of supporting documents required: 

  1. Invitation letter stating the purpose of visiting the country and the relationship with the inviter. 
  1. Passport or resident permit of the inviter as ID proof 
  1. Address Proof of Inviter, such as utility bill 

7. The following is the list of documents for sponsored visit: 

  1. Sponsors need to provide the Sponsorship Letter that includes the following details: 
  1. Name of the visitors 
  1. The purpose of the visit 
  1. Relationship with the visitors 
  1. Length of stay 
  1. Dates of travel 
  1. Any other additional information, if necessary 
  1. ID Proof of Inviter, such as passport or resident permit 
  1. Address Proof of Inviter, such as utility bill 
  1. Proof of Financial Support, such as updated bank statement, pay slips, etc. 

8. The following is the list of supporting documents for Business Visa: 

  1. Invitation letter from the host company stating the purpose of trip, business details, etc. 
  1. Letter of Credit correspondence with the registered company or firm in Pakistan. 
  1. Business Covering Letter from the Indian company on company letterhead. 
  1. Any chamber of commerce in India providing Membership Certificate. 

Process to Get a Pakistan Visa in India

Follow the steps given below to apply for a Pakistan Visa: 

Step 1: To apply for a Pakistan visa, you will have to submit an application form in person or through email to Pakistan High Commission or Consulate. 

Step 2: Pay the visa fee as instructed by the consulate. 

Step 3: Attend the interview process.
